Crash claims life of South Range senior

AUSTINTOWN — Township police are still investigating the Saturday morning traffic accident that took the life of 18-year-old Tricia Lenio of Canfield.

According to Police Chief Robert Gavalier, Lenio was traveling east on Kirk Road early Saturday morning when her vehicle   went off the right side of the road, hit a large rock then struck a utility pole.

Gavalier said Lenio died at the scene.

Lenio was a senior at South Range High School, planning to attend Youngstown State University and major in education.
