WHAT: "The Mayberry Bible Study," a Winter Wednesday Night Study Group, will be led by the Rev. Mark Phillips. The Bible study combines classic episodes from "The Andy Griffith Show" with relevant Scriptures to create modern parables on the teaching of Jesus.
WHEN: 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Sessions are next week, courage, "High Noon in Mayberry"; Jan. 31, folly, "Barney's First Car"; Feb. 7, gossip, "A Wife for Andy"; and Feb. 15, discernment, "The Great Filling Station Robbery." The last session takes place on a Thursday, not a Wednesday.
