Received Eagle Award
Justin Kemp, son of Wayne and Susan Kemp of Warren, recently received the Eagle Scout Award, Scouting's highest award, at a court of honor.
He has been a member of Troop 28 in Howland for six years with Tim Martin as his scoutmaster. Justin has earned 29 merit badges and served as senior patrol leader, patrol leader and quartermaster.
He planned, raised money for and built a stone walkway at the Warren Beatitude House for his Eagle service project.
A senior at Howland High School, he also is involved in the school's cross country, track and rifle teams, National Honor Society, Key Club and Latin Club.

Counselor degree
Michele Lynn Heberling, daughter of Dick and Diane Heberling of New Middletown, received a doctor of philosophy in counselor education and supervision, summa cum laude, from the University of Akron in December.
She received her bachelor's degree from Heidelberg College and her master's degrees from Bowling Green University and the University of Akron. She is a graduate of Springfield Local High School.
Heberling works for Community Services of Stark County, where she is site coordinator, coordinator and professional counselor. She is a part-time instructor at the University of Akron working in the graduate counseling program and is involved with radio station WNPQ in Canton broadcasting a program called "Relationship Nation."

Recognized with award
Atty. James Blomstrom, a member in the law firm of Harrington, Hoppe & amp; Mitchell Ltd., has been recognized by his colleagues in Ohio as a "Super Lawyer" for the fourth straight year.
The publishers of Super Lawyers magazines award the Super Lawyer designation annually to Ohio's top lawyers, based on balloting by their peers. More than 28,000 ballots were mailed to Ohio lawyers as part of the selection process.
The list of Ohio Super Lawyers will be published in the January editions of Cincinnati and Ohio Super Lawyers magazines. The Super Lawyers magazines are published in Pennsylvania, New York and several other states by Key Professional Media, which also publishes regional editions of Law & amp; Politics and Super Doctors magazines.
Blomstrom, based on HHM's Youngstown office, was recognized in the area of civil litigation defense. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years. He also practices in the areas of malpractice defense, commercial and business litigation and employment litigation.
He graduated from the University of Chicago School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Liberty resident.
