NILES — No students aboard a Howland school bus were injured when it collided with a car this morning along U.S. Route 422 near Eastwood Mall.
Jeff McVicker, transportation and operations supervisor for Howland schools, said 24 first- and second-grade kids were on the bus when a car spun out of control in front of the bus and collided with the bus.
Parents were informed of the 9 a.m. accident by phone.
The crash is being investigated by city police.
