Keaggy expands style, has show in city

Wednesday, February 28, 2007

Memories will inevitably flood back for Phil Keaggy and fans when the Mahoning County native returns to the area for shows Saturday and Sunday at Ford Family Recital Hall.

The former Glass Harp member doesn’t perform in the Valley very often; however, his popularity hasn’t waned. Saturday’s show is sold out, and the Sunday show is selling well.

Yeah, I have a large family of relatives, right,” laughed Keaggy, calling from his home in Nashville. Tenn. “It’s always kind of good to come back, and [the response] makes me feel appreciated there. I haven’t forgotten my roots of growing up in Youngstown.”

Keaggy will perform 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Ford Family Recital Hall in Youngstown.
