First Place Financial opensnew office in Indianapolis
WARREN -- First Place Financial Corp. has opened a mortgage lending office in Indianapolis. Davida Henson, senior vice president, will manage the office and lead a team of eight experienced loan officers.
Also, First Place said a presentation by its senior executives will be available online. The presentation at 10:50 a.m. today will be available at www.firstplacebank.com both live and in archive for 30 days.
Steven R. Lewis, president and chief executive of First Place, and Paul Musgrove, chief financial officer, will be speaking at the Midwest SuperCommunity Bank Conference in Chicago.
Legal experts to discusssmoking ban, wage boost
AUSTINTOWN -- The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio will hold a meeting for small business owners from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 8 at the Comfort Inn in Austintown. Legal experts will explain the state's new minimum-wage law and smoking ban.
