Mother, daughter remain in hospital after accident
WINONA -- One family member is in critical condition and another in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center after an accident Sunday.
The Lisbon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said Monday that details of the crash were not available.
Vernon Burch, 46, no address available, of Salem was driving southbound on state Route 9 in Butler Township about 3:50 p.m.
Michael Musulin, 29, of Pennsylvania, whose address also was not available, was driving east on Winona Road. He did not yield the right of way at the intersection with the state route and his car hit Burch's sport utility vehicle.
Burch's wife, Cindy, 46, and their two children, Angela and Andy, no ages available, were flown to the hospital.
A hospital spokesman said Monday the mother was in critical condition, Angela was in stable condition, and Andy was no longer in the hospital.
A passenger in the Burch vehicle, Jake Marshall, 15, of Kensington, had minor injuries but was not treated.
The patrol cited Musulin for failure to yield the right of way.
