Police seeking young mother
BOARDMAN -- Police are looking for information an 18-year-old Shields Road woman last seen Feb. 7.
Ariell S. Butterworth, 18, a mother of two young children, spent the night of Feb. 6 with a friend on Willow Drive and when the friend awoke the next day, Butterworth was gone, police said.
No one has reported hearing from or seeing her since, said Detective Sgt. Steve Riwniak.
She doesn't drive or have a car and is believed to have left on foot, he said.
She was reported missing by a Liberty woman who was her foster mother. The two children also are with the Liberty woman.
Butterworth, a dancer at The Palace in Coitsville, also is bipolar and hasn't been taking her medication.
Butterworth is black with brown hair and eyes. She's 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has tattoos on her back, neck, right wrist and ankle, both shoulders and her chest.
The young mother has family in Columbus but they tell police they haven't been in contact with her, Riwniak said.
