Travaglini sells Perkins restaurants to Pittsburgh firm
YOUNGSTOWN β Travaglini Enterprises has sold its Perkins Restaurant & Bakery locations to a private equity firm based in Pittsburgh.
Ray Travaglini, president of Travaglini Enterprises, said his Meadville, Pa.-based company will focus on its hotel operations. βIt was time for a change,β he said.
His company owns Holiday Inn Express hotels in Niles and Hermitage, Pa., and four other hotels in northwest Pennsylvania.
Unique Ventures Group of Pittsburgh bought the 27 restaurants, which are in the Boardman, Austintown, Cleveland and Erie, Pa., areas.
