Daffodil luncheon at Youngstown Club


YOUNGSTOWN — The Metropolis of Pittsburgh Philoptochos Society will sponsor an annual Daffodil Luncheon on March 10 at the Youngstown Club, 201 E. Commerce St.

The social hour at 11 a.m. will be followed by the luncheon at noon and a silent auction. The speakers will be Dr. Nicola B. Nicoloff, cardiologist, and Georgia Backus, director of the Rich Center for Autism.

Host clubs for the first time in the area will be the following chapters: Archangel Michael of Campbell, St. Demetrios of Warren, and St. John and St. Nicholas of Youngstown.

The cost for the event is $40, and proceeds will benefit the Metropolis Philoptochos Special Care Fund, for catastrophic illnesses, and the Rich Center for Autism.
