Richardson has 20 points as Red Devils win



CAMPBELL -- Jermaine Richardson scored 20 points as the Campbell Memorial High basketball team defeated Struthers, 65-57, to keep their title hopes alive.
Bryant Burt added 14 points as the Red Devils remain a game behind first-place Canfield in the Metro Athletic Conference race. Thursday, Canfield plays at Campbell.
Antwan Dawson had 11 points for the Red Devils, who led 48-34 after three quarters.
R.J. Ragan had 14 points and Matt Kukura added 13 for Struthers.
Howland 44, Niles 40
NILES -- The Red Dragons built a 30-20 lead by intermission, then held off the Tigers' second-half rally.
Sean Cleary, Dan Rosenberger and Justin Allen paced the Red Dragons with 14, 13 and 11 points, respectively.
Nathan Cope led the Tigers with 12 points. Zack Byler added 11.
Mooney 55, Rayen 48
YOUNGSTOWN -- Junior guard Dan McCarthy had a season-high 23 points for Mooney (5-11, 4-2 Steel Valley Conference).
The Cardinals battled back from a 30-29 third-quarter deficit to go up by 13 before hanging on.
Kenny Carter's 16 points paced Rayen.
