Officials seek owner of injured black dog

LIBERTY -- The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County is trying to locate the owner of a dog that needs emergency surgery.
The large, black, male dog has been hit by a motor vehicle and was found at Tibbetts Wick Road and state Route 11 around noon Saturday, said Barb Busko, league spokeswoman. The dog is at Town & amp; Country Veterinary Hospital in Howland, but the owner must give permission before the surgery will be done, Busko said. The owner should call Town & amp; Country at (330) 856-1862.
