18-year-old man is indicted in robbery of drugstore



Drugs and cash were taken in the pharmacy robbery.
YOUNGSTOWN -- A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted an 18-year-old man on an aggravated robbery charge with a firearm specification in a Jan. 16 robbery at a Cornersburg drugstore.
Jeffrey D. Caulton of Norwood Avenue was indicted Thursday in the robbery of Family Discount Drugs, 3307 Canfield Road, where police said more than 1,600 OxyContin pills and other narcotics and 350 in cash were taken.
The grand jury also indicted Richard D. Wilson, 50, of Drummond Avenue on an aggravated arson charge in a Jan. 11 fire at his residence.

Christine DiMailo, 44, of Ohltown Road, Austintown, cocaine possession.
Demetrius Dixon, 32, of Ayers Street, robbery.
Christopher L. Lanning, 26, of Dogwood Drive, Warren, menacing by stalking and violation of a protection order.
Charles L. Merchant, 46, of Worthington Street, receiving stolen property.
Michael Muth, 49, of Canfield Road, felonious assault.
Margaret Gratz, 37, of Fulton Street, Niles, receiving stolen property.
Mack Boone, 19, of Idlewood Avenue, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
Charles Davies, 27, of Mason Street, Niles, two counts of aggravated drug possession.
Aaron W. Grounds, 27, of West Fifth Street, Beloit, theft.
Anthony A. Scrutchen Jr., 20, of Jean Street, Campbell, marijuana trafficking.
Melvin Green, 57, of Hammaker Street, heroin possession.

The grand jury secretly indicted a John and Jane Doe on three counts of cocaine trafficking with forfeiture specifications, a Jane Doe on a cocaine trafficking charge and nine John Does on drug trafficking charges. It declined to indict Richard Stewart on a felonious assault charge.
