Girard man found dead in his driveway

GIRARD — Martin Machingo, 68, of East Prospect Street, was pronounced dead today at Forum Health Northside Medical Center, where he was taken after neighbors found him collapsed in his driveway.

Police said Machingo was found at 8:25 a.m. Fire department personnel, first responders at the scene, and ambulance paramedics tried to revive Machingo at his home, but were unable to do so.

Police speculate Machingo either had been shoveling snow or attempting to start his snow blower when he collapsed.
