Business sluggish along U.S. Route 224 in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Traffic wasn’t the only thing moving slowly along U.S. Route 224.

The heavy snow and dicey road conditions Wednesday slowed business at some establishments as well.

The usually-busy parking lots in the Boardman Plaza parking lot were nearly empty.

Barb Costello, operations manager at Linens N Things in the plaza, saw fewer customers coming into the store Wednesday than a regular week day.

Customer flow was sluggish at other Route 224 businesses too.
