NEW YORK — Junior Jessica Morrow scored a season-high 22 points to help Baylor. Danielle Wilson added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Bears (9-1), who improved to 93-3 under Mulkey when they score 80 points or more. Rachel Allison had 14 points and Angela Tisdale added 12. Tiina Sten and Kia Wright both scored 13 points to lead St. John’s (8-4). Wright broke the school record for free throw’s made passing Sabrina Johnson’s all-time mark of 339. Wright was 6-for-6 Saturday and has 341. Monique McLean added 11 for the Red Storm. Freshman Sky Lindsay, who is St. John’s second leading scorer at 10.3 points, was held to just four.

Indiana 79, No. 13 West Virginia 66

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Jamie Braun and Amber Jackson each scored 17 points and the Indiana Hoosiers hit nine 3-pointers, nearly matching their season-high, to beat West Virginia. It was Indiana’s first victory over a Top 25 team since beating Kentucky on Nov. 12, 2006. Meg Bulger and Chakhia Cole each scored 19 points for West Virginia (10-2), not enough to prevent the Mountaineers’ seven-game winning streak from ending.

STILLWATER, Okla. — Reserve Kristin Hernandez scored 20 points to lead Oklahoma State to its most lopsided victory in program history. Oklahoma State (10-1) scored the first 13 points and never was challenged by Central Arkansas (2-9), a team that suited up only eight players. The Sugar Bears are in their second season in NCAA Division I. The Cowgirls’ previous most lopsided win was 112-56 against Tulsa on Feb. 25, 1978, and recorded their highest point total since a 109-56 rout of Nicholls State on Dec. 15, 1996.

No. 21 Vanderbilt 92, Lipscomb 37

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Christina Wirth scored 16 points to lead Vanderbilt to a victory over Lipscomb. Lipscomb’s point total was the lowest in school history. The Lady Bisons shot only 23.5 percent from the field and were only 3-for-20 from behind the arc.

Hartford 54, No. 23 Michigan St. 51

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — Danielle Hood scored 19 points to lead Hartford. Kalisha Keane had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Michigan State (8-4). Allyssa DeHaan added 13 points for the Spartans. Trailing 40-33 in the second half, Hawks forward Katie Kelley hit back-to-back jumpers and a pair of free throws to make it 40-39. Lisa Etienne hit a free throw and Kelley added another basket to tie the game at 42 with 5:46 to go. Keane hit a jumper to retake the lead for Michigan State at 44-42, but Jaime McCabe responded with a 3-pointer to the give the Hawks a 45-44 advantage. Hood followed with a lay-up to put Hartford up 47-44 and the two teams traded baskets down the stretch. Michigan State, which led 25-22 at the half, closed within 52-51 on Alissa Wulff’s 3-pointer with 48 seconds left. Erica Beverly made two free throws and the Hawks’ held on for the win. Ursuline High graduate Courtney Davidson had two points and three assists for MSU.
