Another man was indicted on a charge related to a fatal car accident.

WARREN — A 22-year-old city man faces 12 felony charges, one accusing him of raping a 25-year-old woman in November, and 11 others related to allegedly firing a gun into a home on North Feederle Drive Southeast on Oct. 21.

Shontell L. Williams of 376 Belmont Ave. N.W., was indicted this week on the rape charge, seven counts of improperly discharging a firearm at a house, two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and two counts of felonious assault.

The rape charge relates to an incident reported Nov. 5 by a Warren woman, who said Williams raped her about 5 a.m. inside of the woman’s friend’s house on Clermont Avenue Northeast on Nov. 5.

A Warren police report said Williams was arrested in connection with the Feederle Drive incident Oct. 25.

The homeowner reported that six shots were fired into her house, hitting doors, pictures, blankets, cabinets and other items about 4 a.m. and that shots apparently had also gone into a neighbor’s house.

If convicted on all of the charges Williams could go to prison for 92 years.
