New Castle explosion injures one

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — An explosion just before 10 a.m. today at a business just north of New Castle left one person burned, according to the Pennsylvania State Police, New Castle barracks.

The explosion, which took place right behind the patrol barracks, was not of a hazardous material, the patrol said. The business is at 599 Northgate Road.
