XPOLAND — A reception was held July 28 at the Grand Pavilion at Avalon Inn, Howland, to honor Jeffrey Macabobby and his bride, the former Allison Buckley, both of 6633 E. Greenway Parkway, Scottsdale, Ariz., after their wedding at 1:30 p.m. at Holy Family Church.
The Rev. Chris Luoni officiated for the daughter of Atty. Robert and Marilyn Buckley, 28 Riverside Drive, and the son of Paulette Macabobby, 70 Monticello, Hilton Head Island, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Macabobby Jr., 3514 E. Western Reserve Road.
The bride’s strapless, modified mermaid-style gown of silk organza and French tulle was accented with floral embroidery and a sash at the waistline.
Brown gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Michelle Buckley, and the bridesmaids, Annelise Sucato, Deanna Sortino and Jennifer Hosmer. Flower girl was the groom’s cousin Kaitlin Remish.
Josh Macabobby served as best man for his brother, and groomsmen were Brian Krichbaum, Cody Holecko and Nick Dota.
The bride graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is a replenishment analyst with Petsmart Inc. in Phoenix.
The groom, an account executive with Summit Commercial Finance in Scottsdale, graduated from Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree.
After a wedding trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, the couple live in Phoenix.
