OSHP seeks help to ID hit-skip vehicle

WARREN — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is searching for the driver of a red Ford F-150 pickup truck that collided with a motorcycle Aug. 16, killing its rider, Michael Brown, 38, of Youngstown.

The truck is described as a 1997 to 2003 model with a sticker containing the letters FRBR. It would have damage to the driver’s side. Officials also say the vehicle may have aluminum rims.

The truck’s driver allegedly fled the scene of the accident on state Route 82 and Collar-Price Road in Brookfield Township at about 10 p.m. To report the location of a matching vehicle call the patrol’s Warren Post at (330) 898-2311.
