XYOUNGSTOWN — The Rev. Tom Zeigler officiated at the 12:30 p.m. June 30 wedding of Jamie C. Houlihan and Christopher Ryan Amedeo at St. Stephen of Hungary Church.

The couple accepted congratulations at a reception at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center in Austintown before leaving for a honeymoon at Conneaut, Pa., and Hilton Head, S.C.

Parents of the bride are Ed and Theresa Ference, 10055 Lisbon Road, Canfield, and John Houlihan, 807 Dillewood, Sheffield Lake. The groom’s parents are Ron and Susan Amedeo, 9465 Beryl St., Massillon.

Re-embroidered lace, pearls and sequins enhanced the bride’s princess-style gown of white net over satin. It featured a halter neckline and semicathedral train.

Dawn Wibert was the honor attendant, and bridesmaids were Amanda Ference, Becki Ference, Kara Amedeo, Emily Cooke, Carey Walters and Madison Hartman. Flower girl was Abigail Wibert.

Best man was Max McClure, and groomsmen were Trevor Cousins, Lee Cogswell, Tom Wibert, John Fike and Mike Freiland. Ring bearer was Alex Hartman.

Ushers were Kyle Gabrick, Steve Stahura, Tyler Dankovich and Rob Miller, and also participating were Travis Chalker and Brandon Wibert.

Mrs. Amedeo attended Kent and Youngstown state universities.

Mr. Amedeo graduated from KSU with a degree in education and is teacher at Jackson High School.

The couple live a 9756 Emerald Hill in Canal Fulton.
