A calendar of activities to which the public is invited is published every Monday. Please submit information to the Society Department by 5 p.m. Thursday.

SALES

American Legion FDR Post 560, 103 12th St., Campbell, will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sale items include furniture, antiques, small appliances, books, toys and clothing.

Boardman United Methodist Church, 6809 Market St., will hold a trash or treasure sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday will be bargain day with clothing $1 a bag and other items $2 a bag. Coffee and doughnuts will be available.

Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Churchill-Hubbard Road, Liberty Township, will hold a gently used sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Concordia Lutheran Church, 125 N. Brockway Ave., will hold a rummage and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Pizza and a light lunch will be available.

First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will hold a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. For more information, contact (724) 983-0200.

Kinsman Free Public Library, just off state routes 5 and 7, on Church Street in Kinsman, will hold a book sale during library hours on May 21 and 22, with a half price sale May 23 and 24 and remaining items free on May 25. Donations of books, paperbacks, music, audiobooks, videos and DVDs, and novels in good condition will be accepted for the sale beginning Tuesday through May 12. Mahoning Valley Dahlia Society will hold an annual dahlia plant sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens at Mill Creek MetroParks. Experienced growers will be present to assist buyers. The public is also invited to attend a 2 p.m. meeting after the sale. XSt. Nicholas School will hold a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the church basement, Fifth Street, Struthers. Available will be books, magazines, DVDs and videos.

Women’s Ministry of Covenant Life Fellowship, 5900 W. Liberty St., Hubbard, will hold an indoor rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
