Court orders Moonda rehab records

AKRON — A federal judge has ordered the drug rehabilitation records of accused murderer Donna Moonda and her former boyfriend be turned over to the court.

U.S. District Judge David Dowd issued an order on Monday for Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Aliquippa, Pa., to hand over the treatment records of Moonda and Damian Bradford by 2:30 p.m. next Monday.

Dowd’s order states the court will view the records and determine if they should be given to the prosecution.

Moonda, 48, is accused of aiding and abetting in the shooting death of her wealthy husband, Dr. Gulam Moonda, a well known Mercer County physician, on May 13, 2005, on the side of the Ohio Turnpike.
