Garden Forum announces winners of flower show

YOUNGSTOWN -- Sheila Bowman, Jean Davidson and Dianna Mullins served as judges for a flower show held by the Garden Forum of the Greater Youngstown Area on April 14 and 15 at Fellows Riverside Gardens in Mill Creek MetroParks.Winners of blue ribbons in the design category were:Elsie DeHoff, Austintown.
Pearl Marlos, Gleaners.
Mullins and Esther Bertch, Nature Lovers.
Capturing blue ribbons in the horticulture division were:
Bertch, Rose Marie Roth and Marlos, Gleaners.
Martha Murphy, Bowman and Mullins, Nature Lovers.
DeHoff, Austintown.
Kathleen Willingham, Ikebana.
Roxanne Macynski, Norma Roden and Beth Haddle, public.
Marlos was the recipient of a special award in design, and receiving special awards in horticulture were Murphy, Roden, DeHoff and Haddle.
