Slippery Rock dean
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. -- Dr. Susan Hannam, interim dean of Slippery Rock University's College of Health, Environment and Science, has been named to fill that post on a permanent basis. She has served as interim dean since January 2005 while a national search was conducted to fill the post. "Dr. Hannam has shown her leadership during the past 17 months," said President Robert Smith. "After reviewing all of the exceptional candidates, she was clearly the best candidate to fill the post." Hannam joined the Slippery Rock faculty in 1987, rose through the ranks as assistant, associate and full professor and served as chairman of the department of exercise and rehabilitative sciences from 2001 to 2005.
