Last week: After laying down the 11th quickest lap during qualifying for Saturday's Subway Fresh Fit 500, Blaney ran solidly in the top 25 throughout the race before the No. 22 Toyota Camry was hit from behind and sent careening into the wall in the closing laps of the event. The Hartford native finished in 39th place, finishing only 281 of 312 laps.
Season: Blaney dropped one spot to 39th place, 803 points behind series leader Jeff Gordon.
Next race: The Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway is Sunday at 3:10 p.m.
