Harding has event for honor-roll students

WARREN — Warren G. Harding High School’s Improvement Committee will sponsor its annual Renaissance Banquet to recognize honor roll students at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Demetrios Community Center, on 3223 Atlantic St., N.E.

During the ceremony, 624 pupils will receive Renaissance Cards for having a grade point average between 4.0 and 3.2. The Renaissance Cards reward pupils with incentives donated by local businesses and sponsors.

The Renaissance Program, created by the Harding High School Improvement Committee in 1991, is available to Harding and Trumbull Career and Technical Center pupils. Pupils may apply each trimester for this card.
