BOARDMAN -- Phillip and Sylvia Passas, 5660 Sharon Drive, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Ren & eacute;e S. Passas of the same address, and Derek Knepper, 1175 Calla Road E., Poland, a son of Don and Kathy Knepper, 18864 Forbes Road, Wellsville.
Miss Passas is employed by Southwoods Healthcare. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in health-care administration from Kent State University, where she is pursuing a master's in speech language pathology.
Mr. Knepper earned a bachelor's degree in business administration at Youngstown State University and is an agent with State Farm Insurance Companies in Howland.
Invitations will be extended for the couple's 3 p.m. July 7 wedding at St. John Greek Orthodox Church and also for their evening reception at Mr. Anthony's.
