Residents from Valleyare awarded patents
WASHINGTON -- Several federal patents have been awarded to area residents.
Steven W. Marzo of Cortland, James M. Stambolia of Warren and Daniel S. Eichorn of El Paso, Texas, have developed an electrical connector that has a connector body. The patent has been assigned to Delphi Technologies of Troy, Mich.
John R. Morello of Warren has developed an electrical connector body co-molded with cable and peripheral seals. This patent also was been assigned to Delphi Technologies.
Ronald N. Kessler and Daniel A. Kessler, both of Girard, have developed an ornamental design for a floor mat with scraping and wiping characteristics. The patent has been assigned to R+L Marketing & amp; Sales of Youngstown.
Joseph M. Lepley of Girard and Gary A. Kleinfelder of Mercer, Pa., have developed an air starter and an electronic control therefor. The patent has been assigned to Altronic of Girard.
High-tech jobs portalwill link seekers, bosses
CLEVELAND -- NorTech, a regional technology-based economic development organization, launched a high-tech jobs portal that will connect Northeast Ohio job-seekers with potential employers.
Job-seekers and employers interested in using the portal services can go to www.neotechjobs.com.
Job-seekers can click on a link on the home page to search a database of northeast Ohio job postings that have been aggregated from small and large companies' Web sites seeking high tech talent. Employers can post individual jobs opportunities, search the site's resume database and submit company Web sites to NorTech so their job openings can be aggregated into the jobs portal.
Farris Marketing addsnew clients to list
BOARDMAN -- Farris Marketing added these new clients: Harley-Davidson/Buell of Youngstown, a Canfield motorcycle dealer that is moving to Austintown later this year; LM Engineering of Youngstown, a manufacturer of protective cases for audio/visual equipment, musical instruments, lighting equipment and sports gear; Gilmore of Cortland, provides landscape design and operates the Greengate retail garden store; and Lawrence County Economic Development Corp.

American Classic Toymoves for expansion
SEBRING -- American Classic Toy, maker of the Sudoku Cube, is moving from 101 S. 15th St. to 176 W. Pennsylvania Ave. Jay Horowitz, company president, said the company needs more space because of increased international and domestic sales. The company's new phone number is (330) 938-2000.
Penn-Northwest movesto renovated offices
MERCER, Pa. -- Penn-Northwest Development Corp. is moving Monday from North Diamond Street to newly renovated offices on Greenville Road. The new offices will also house regional offices for the Gannon University Small Business Development Center, the Northwest Industrial Resource Center, the Mercer County Industrial Development Authority and the Shenango Valley Industrial Development Corporation.
