Hit-run driver hurts walker, causes crash at Greenville crossing

GREENVILLE, Pa. -- A pedestrian and two cars stopped at a traffic signal were struck by a hit-and-run driver. Greenville/West Salem Police have detained 27-year-old Charles Sensak, of Bentley Avenue, on a parole violation as they investigate.
Police said Sensak faces charges of hit and run and driving under the influence.
Police said Dana Hellyer, 49, of South Mercer Street, was crossing Main Street at Mercer Street when she was hit by a Sensak's car at 10:20 p.m. Thursday. The car continued east on Main Street and crashed into Ed Kiser's car. Kiser, 55, of Greenville, was stopped at a traffic signal.
The impact pushed Kiser's car into another stopped car driven by Tracy Hatton, 33, also of Greenville. Police said they caught up with Sensak after he crashed again on the east end of Shenango Street. No other cars or pedestrians were involved in that crash.
Kiser, Hatton and Hellyer were treated at UPMC Greenville for injuries.
