BREAST CANCER Research concert

What: A concert to raise money for breast cancer research at UCLA's Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center in California. The head researcher is New Castle native Dr. Dennis Slamon.
When: 7:30 p.m. May 4 and 5
Where: The New Castle High School auditorium, 310 E. Lincoln Ave.
Who: Las Vegas entertainers Mr. Hajee, performing as Luther Vandross, and Jordan Carroll performing the music of Barry White will be on stage. Dr. Slamon also will appear.
Cost: 25 per ticket.

Participants: Anyone who has had breast cancer, those who have won or lost their battle, are asked to submit a photograph and name, which will be displayed at the concert. Items can be e-mailed to pftc05@msn.com or mail to 913 Dushane St., New Castle, Pa. 16101. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for photo return. The deadline is April 30.
