ODOT begins road work next week in Columbiana

COLUMBIANA — Ohio Department of Transportation will begin work Monday to resurface state Route 164 in Columbiana County. Route 164 will be resurfaced from the intersection of state Routes 45 and 517 to Metz Road just south of the city of Columbiana. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. ODOT’s contractor for the $834,476 project is Central-Allied Enterprises Inc., from Canton. The completion date is June 30.

State Route 164 will be closed during daytime hours next week from Lisbon to state Route 11 in Columbiana for a culvert replacement. Detour markers will be displayed to show alternate routes.
