YSU LIVE | Job fair comes to an end

YOUNGSTOWN — We're done. The YSU job fair is over.

We being The Vindicator crew, along with more than 80 area businesses. We've been at the Spring Job Expo 2007 today at YSU.

Lots of nice chats and people. We didn't win a door prize; Walgreens did, though.

Laura Neely of Youngstown dropped by our table to take a look at job options for when she graduates in December. She's already equipped with business cards — bright orange ones.

We talked to another great lady at the job fair, who said our booth is her favorite so far. So add "quick-minded" to "very personable."She's open to any job opportunity in the area. We'd tell you more, but since she's not a YSU student and we don't know the rules about her being able to be here, we're protecting our sources for now.

And we met the mom of an summer internship candidate from Boardman whom we interviewed last week. She's at Kent, not YSU. Her mom says nice things about her. We liked her, too.
