Rotary announces scholarship program

Rotary District 6650 is accepting applications for participation in the Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship Program.

The scholarships are for the 2008-2009 academic year in the amount of $26,000 for a full year of academic study abroad.

Applicants must have completed at least two years of college work and be proficient in the language of the host country. Children or relatives of Rotarians are not eligible.

The application deadline is July 20, and interviews will be in August.
