Robbery suspect arrested

BOARDMAN — Police apprehended one of the men accused in a March 3 armed robbery in which $2,500 and a car were stolen.

Willie Lee Glenn Jr., 18, of West Boston Avenue, was turned over to Boardman police by U.S. marshals Tuesday. He and another man are accused of robbing a Youngstown man and three Boardman men at gunpoint after meeting the group for a game of basketball at home on Trotwood Drive, according to police reports.

Glenn is charged with three counts of aggravated robbery. He is being held at the Mahoning County jail awaiting his arraignment tonight, said Sgt. Steve Riwniak.

The second suspect in the robbery is still at large, he said.
