Eastwood Mall to display pupils' artwork

NILES -- Beginning Friday, artwork from K-12 pupils across the area will be on display at the Art Outreach Gallery at the Eastwood Mall.
The gallery will rotate works of pupils from the Warren and Hermitage, Pa., school districts, and Our of Mount Carmel in Niles and Notre Dame in Warren each weekend until May 6. Performances by school bands, drama clubs, choirs and individual pupils will take place throughout the show.
Hermitage pupils will begin the show, holding an opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday. On April 28, the gallery will unveil the artwork from pupils of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. A reception for the Mount Carmel show will be from 5 to 8 p.m., as well.
May 5, Warren pupils' artwork will open at the gallery with a reception from 1 to 4 p.m. followed by an opening celebration with works by Notre Dame pupils from 5 to 8 p.m.
The gallery will be open from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays, 1 to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays throughout the show. If you would like to offer volunteer assistance, call Gail Stark at (330) 394-3384 or DaMarla Guffey at (330) 372-6191.
