YSU student robbed in parking deck

YOUNGSTOWN — A Youngstown State University student reported she was robbed by a man on the third level of the Wick Avenue parking deck shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim said the man stuck something in her back, demanded money and stole a silver, mesh ring off her finger before fleeing in what was described as an older model, brown, rusted vehicle driven by an accomplice. Police searched the area but didn’t find the suspects.
