Liberty 5, Champion 4
LIBERTY -- Liberty senior Michelle Dykes hit for the cycle, including an RBI single that scored her sister, Melissa, with the game-winning run in the top of the eighth inning. Jessie Szakacs added two hits for Liberty (2-3, 2-1). Champion (2-4, 0-3) rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh to overcome a 4-1 deficit. The game was moved to Liberty due to bad weather.
Hubbard 11, Brookfield 0
HUBBARD -- Winning pitcher Gabby Flynn (2-2) tossed a one-hitter and drove in four runs with three hits. One was a double. Also for the Eagles (5-2, 2-1 TAC), Paige Seech's three hits included a homer and drove in three runs. Brookfield pitcher Corrine Miller's fifth-inning single broke up the no-hitter.
Mooney 17, Rayen 0
BOARDMAN -- Chrissy Porter and Krissy Cormell teamed up to pitch a perfect game for the Cardinals (6-2, 2-0 Steel Valley Conference). Cormell, Mara Palombaro and DiAndra Dibacco each had three hits. Two of Cormell's were doubles and she drove in four runs. Dibacco homered and had three RBIs. Rayen is 0-5, 0-3.
East Palestine 6, Springfield 3
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Jessi Gamble's two hits and doubles by Chelsea Peterson and Jessica Cavanaugh led the Bulldogs. For the Tigers (4-3, 4-1 Inter Tri-County League Tier One), Morgan Fagnano had two singles and Rebecca Evans doubled.
Western Reserve 12, Leetonia 2
LEETONIA -- Winning pitcher Brittany Boyer struck out 10 batters and walked three for the Blue Devils (4-6, 4-2 ITCL Tier Two). McKenzie Mowry had four hits and Elizabeth Srock three. For the Bears, Bobbie Miller had a hit and run batted in.
Jackson-Milton 11, Sebring 3
NORTH JACKSON -- Senior Krista Kiraly had four hits including two doubles and knocked in seven runs. Kiraly (4-2) also threw nine strikeouts and didn't issue a walk in tossing a nine-hitter. Seniors Kortney Gherardi and Dez Cavanaugh both had three hits for J-M (5-3, 5-1 ITCL Tier Two). Jordan Henderson had four hits for Sebring while Dani Seidel's two hits included a double and drove in two runs.

Campbell 9, Chaney 4
YOUNGSTOWN -- Brian Groh had three hits, Rich Tisone had a triple and a single and George Fasline had two hits for Campbell (2-3). Joe Morales had two hits for Chaney.
Mooney 11, Wilson 1
STRUTHERS -- Mooney senior Tony Brunetti hit a three-run homer while Scott Smith added three hits. Drew Fitzpatrick, Anthony Franceschelli and Dan Gallagher each added two hits. Jarvis Tabb doubled for Wilson.
Warren JFK 6, Cleveland Keystone 4
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. -- Josh Swipas went 3-for-4 with a homer and two RBIs to lead JFK in the Tennessee High School Spring Bash. Matt Joseph added two hits, including a homer, and three RBIs for the Eagles (6-3-1) while Cory Diles and Kevin Wires each added two hits.
Howland 4, Salem 2
SALEM -- Greg Patterson's two hits included a double and drove in a run for the Tigers (5-1, 2-0 Metro Athletic Conference). Zak Byler scored three runs for Howland while T.J. Stoian had two hits and an RBI. For the Quakers (2-6, 0-3), Sean McKee and David Wright each had two hits.
Newton Falls 12, LaBrae 7
NEWTON FALLS -- Junior Jae Leeworthy had four hits and seven RBIs to lead Newton Falls (2-4, 1-1 Trumbull Athletic Conference). Aaron Walker and Dale Suttle each added two hits. Mike Witherow and Josh White each had two hits for LaBrae.

LIBERTY -- Sam Jaffee's grand slam led the Leopards (2-4, 2-0 TAC). Ryan Karson's two hits drove in two runs while Kyle Conway and Jon Krause also had two hits each. For Champion, Joe Cvengros and Aaron Hauser both had two hits and two RBIs.
Lakeview 9, Girard 5
GIRARD -- Lakeview used a six-run third inning to snap a scoreless game en route to the Bulldogs' first TAC win of the season. Kevin Monti had two hits and Dave DeJacimo knocked in two runs for Lakeview (2-6, 1-1 TAC). Girard junior Anthony Guerrieri had two doubles, Marty Brinker had two RBIs and R.J. Trimbur also had two hits for the Indians (4-3, 1-1).
East Palestine 9, Springfield 1
NEW MIDDLETOWN -- Junior Nick Baiamonte went 4 for 5 with two doubles and Wes Best had a double for the Bulldogs (8-0). Best finished with two hits and two RBIs, while Tommy Powers and Jake Harvey had two hits apiece for the winners.
Senior Andy Richey had two singles and senior Bobby Rogers added an RBI double for Springfield (7-3, 3-2 ITCL Tier One).
Western Reserve 14, Leetonia 5
LEETONIA -- Steve Stack's two hits included a grand slam. Matt Kalbfell and Bill Speece each had three hits while John Porterfield and Dave Drevna had two apiece. Nick Timko (1-0) picked up the win in relief as four pitchers combined to scatter three hits for the Blue Devils (5-2, 4-2 ITCL Tier Two).
Boardman 6, Uniontown Lake 4
UNIONTOWN -- Senior Mike Keller's bases-loaded double scored three runs in a five-run seventh inning for the Spartans (3-2, 1-1 Federal League). The loss was Lake's first after six wins. The Blue Streaks are 1-1 in the Federal League. Keller scored the seventh inning's final run on Mike Popio's single. With one out in the seventh, Corey Keller doubled before Josh Gardner was hit-by-pitch. Joe Bako and Anthony LaVolpa singled and, with two outs, Mike Keller doubled. Corey Keller, a senior, finished with two doubles, while Popio, a junior, had two singles. Relief pitcher Corey Susany, a senior, allowed two hits and struck out six in four innings.
Jackson-Milton 8, Sebring 5
SEBRING -- Sophomore Dan Clawson's three-run double and brother Ryan Clawson's home run led Jackson-Milton. Ryan Clawson, a senior, also singled for the Blue Jays (5-3, 3-2 ITCL Tier Two), while Nick McClarren, a senior, doubled. Senior Mike Nagy (4-1) had four strikeouts in a six-hitter for J-M. Brennan Burl had a two-run single for Sebring.
