OPEN HOUSE Masjid Al-Khair mosque

The Masjid Al-Khair mosque is planning an open house so that community residents may experience the Muslim culture.
When: 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday.
Where: Mosque, 1670 Homewood Ave., Youngstown.
Details: The event will feature tours of the mosque, henna designs, handicrafts, face painting and ethnic foods, jewelry and clothing. There also will be free blood pressure and glucose monitoring.
