CARRIE JARVISKEITH BOYER
XCANFIELD -- The exchange of nuptial vows took place at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 5 as Carrie Lynn Jarvis and Keith Allen Boyer, both of Boardman, were united in marriage at Western Reserve United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Russell Adams officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Nancy Beach Jarvis of Youngstown and the late John Edward Jarvis, and the son of Raymond and Beverly Boyer of Boardman.
A reception was held at Holy Trinity Serbian Church Hall in Youngstown, then the couple left on a cruise to the southern Caribbean. They live in Boardman.
The bride's strapless candlelight A-line gown featured an organza overlay embellished at the waist with seed pearls and embroidery.
Chardonnay-colored gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Rebecca Lintner, and the bridesmaids, Julie Protopapa, Marcy Kubancsek and the groom's daughters, Ashley and Lauren Boyer. Flower girl was Laynee Hartley, cousin of the bride.
The groom's father was best man, and groomsmen were James Sandwisch, James Connors, Kevin Snowberger, Stuart Malone and the bride's brother, Brad Jarvis.
Mrs. Boyer, a literacy coordinator with Youngstown City Schools, graduated from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
Mr. Boyer served 15 years with the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant and is a clerk with the U.S. Postal Service in Youngstown.
