Westminster 0, Carn.-Mellon 0 (2 OT) --The match-up pitted Carnegie Mellon (1-1-1), team that has averaged 12 wins during each of the last five years, against a Westminster (2-0-1) team that has won three conference titles in the last four years. The Titans connected on six shots as the Tartans goalkeeper Alyssa Seifart kept Westminster off the board with six saves. Westminster freshman net-minder Lindsey Mellott (Lakeview HS) made 17 saves. for his third shutout in her first three college matches. Westminster has yet to surrender a goal this season. The Tartans registering more shots (20-14) and corner kicks (10-0).
Slippery Rock 3, Edinboro 1
SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. --- Danielle Cooper scored two unassisted goals and assisted on the first Rock tally Wednesday afternoon to lead the Slippery Rock University women's soccer team to a 3-1 win over visiting Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference-Western Division rival Edinboro. The win was The Rock's fifth in as many outings this fall and extended the Green and White's unbeaten streak to 11 games. SRU is now 3-0 and alone atop the PSAC-West standings. Edinboro saw its record drop to 2-2 overall, 1-1 in PSAC-West action. Rock goalie Lauren McManus recorded four saves in the game; the goal by Edinboro was only the second allowed by The Rock's freshmen netminder in five games this fall.

BETHANY, W. Va. -- The Bethany College women's soccer team fell to 0-3 on the season following a 2-0 loss to visiting LaRoche (Pa.) College (1-0). LaRoche held a 15-1 advantage in corners and a 15-4 advantage in shots.
