Event will honor judge, WYTV co-anchor



YOUNGSTOWN -- Gina Marinelli, co-anchor of WYTV TV-33 news, and Judge Diane Vettori will be honored at the 11th annual Columbus Day Dinner and Show on Oct. 5 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall.
The event is sponsored by Tony Trolio's Ciao Productions.
Marinelli joined WYTV in July of 2005. A graduate of Canfield High School and Youngstown State University, she always dreamed of working in her hometown. She has covered the Mahoning and Shenango valleys as a broadcast journalist for 19 years.
Marinelli lives in Boardman with her husband, Andy, and their son, Jake.
Vettori was elected a Mahoning County Court judge in 2002.
A graduate of Canfield High School, where she was valedictorian, she received her bachelor's degree from YSU in 1990 and her Juris Doctorate from University of Akron School of Law in 1993.
She is married to Detective Sgt. Ismael Caraballo of the Youngstown Police Department.
Entertainment
Aaron Caruso and Floyd Vivino will provide entertainment at the show.
Caruso, 29, of New York, has been performing since he was 6. His show, a mix of Italian and American music, includes audience-pleasers such as "That's Amore" to tarantellas such as "Lazy Mary" and "Peppino the Mouse." He does a tribute to Perry Como as well as songs by Andreas Bocelli and Tom Jones.
Comedian Uncle Floyd Vivino tells hilarious true stories of growing up with the "wiseguys" in New Jersey.
Vivino hosts an Italian radio show in New York.
