Deadly attack taped by surveillance cameras

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- A man was knocked to the pavement and killed in an attack videotaped by surveillance cameras outside a bar, police said.
Four young men, possibly in their teens, struck Terry Ward in a parking lot late Friday and robbed him after the victim had fallen to the ground, police said.
Video from cameras outside the Blueberry Hill bar shows the assault and the attackers going through Ward's pockets, police said.
Ward's skull was fractured and he died of brain injuries, likely from his head hitting the pavement, according to an autopsy.
No arrests had been made, police said Sunday.
Ward, 43, of Columbus, likely was singled out because he was walking alone and had been drinking, making him an easier target, homicide detective Timothy Huston said.
"We believe it was a planned robbery, a planned assault," Huston said. "They were looking for a victim, and they found one."
