Price of Sunday paper will increase Oct. 1

The price of the Sunday issue of The Vindicator will increase 25 cents to $1.25 on Oct. 1.
We last raised the price of the newspaper in May 2004, almost 21/2 years ago.
With higher and higher overhead, led by the recent increase in the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel, we find it necessary to raise the rate to help offset some of those costs.
Part of the rate increase will be passed along to your newspaper carriers to help offset their increased expenses.
The Vindicator will honor advance payments, up to one year, made before Oct. 1. That will give our subscribers the opportunity to lock in their current rate for up to 12 months if they so desire.
We also offer some alternative payment plans that can save subscribers up to $10 annually.
If you are interested in taking advantage of one of these savings programs, simply call our customer service department for more details.
