Another Subway robbed
YOUNGSTOWN -- Subway sandwich shop at 830 E. Midlothlian Blvd., was robbed Monday evening, Youngstown police report.
A man with a red bandana over his face entered the store at 7:43 p.m. and ordered an employee to open the register. He kept his hand in his pocket, as if he had a gun, the employee told police.
She gave him $130 and he fled.
Police tried a canine track, but had no luck, the report states,.
This is the second Subway shop to be robbed in the city in about a week. On Oct. 23, the Subway on Rayen Avenue near Youngstown State University was robbed by three men, police said. Willie Anderson, 54, of Youngstown; James Stephenson, 26, of Austintown; and Develyn Greene, no age or address available, were arraigned Oct. 24 in the crime.
