Oklahoma still winner, 20-3, without Peterson

NORMAN, Okla. -- Allen Patrick ran for 110 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown to lead Oklahoma over Colorado, 20-3, in the 20th-ranked Sooners' first game without Adrian Peterson Saturday night.
Paul Thompson added a touchdown pass to Manuel Johnson, and Oklahoma (5-2, 2-1 Big 12) used a wind gusting up to 30 mph as its ally throughout the game.

STILLWATER, Okla. -- Stephen McGee threw a 2-yard touchdown pass with three seconds to go in regulation and Red Bryant blocked an extra-point attempt in overtime.
The Aggies (7-1, 3-1 Big 12) forced the extra period on a 2-yard touchdown pass from McGee to tight end Joey Thomas at the end of regulation. The Aggies had the ball first in overtime, and needed only three plays to score, with Jorvorskie Lane plowing in from a yard out. Layne Neumann's extra point put Texas A & amp;M ahead 34-27.

CLEMSON, S.C. -- James Davis ran for a career-high 216 yards, C.J. Spiller scored two 50-yard touchdowns and Clemson held Georgia Tech's Calvin Johnson without a catch for the first time in his career.
Davis, the Atlantic Coast Conference's leading rusher, got the Tigers' (7-1, 4-1) scoring started with a 2-yard TD run and finished with his seventh career 100-yard rushing game. Spiller added a 50-yard scoring run in the third quarter and answered the Yellow Jackets' (5-2, 3-1) only score with a 50-yard catch and run to help Clemson to its sixth straight victory.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- Dwayne Bowe caught a 58-yard touchdown pass to tie the LSU record for career scoring catches with 21.
Craig "Buster" Davis returned a punt 77 yards for a score and later caught a 30-yard touchdown pass for LSU (6-2). Senior running back Alley Broussard, who was benched a week ago, returned to score a 21-yard touchdown.
W. Kentucky 27, S. Illlinois 24
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Lerron Moore ran for a 3-yard, go-ahead touchdown with 2:20 to go as Western Kentucky stormed back from a 24-10.
Western Kentucky (3-4, 3-1 Gateway Conference) outscored Southern Illinois (5-2, 2-2) 17-0 in the second half, including a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns.
Akron 24, Miami (Ohio) 13
AKRON -- Dennis Kennedy ran for two touchdowns to give Akron the lead for good and Luke Getsy threw a touchdown pass in the Zips' victory.
Kennedy's 7-yard run with 33 seconds left in the third quarter gave Akron (3-4, 1-2 Mid-American Conference) an 18-13 lead. He then scored on a 4-yard run with 10:41 left in the game.
Getsy threw a 36-yard touchdown pass to David Harvey in the second quarter.
Kennedy ran for 129 yards on 31 carries. Getsy was 14-of-24 passing for 197 yards.
Mike Kokal (Warren Harding) was 21-of-46 passing for 263 yards and threw a 4-yard touchdown to Ryne Robinson in the first quarter to give the RedHawks (1-7, 1-3) a 7-3 lead.
Geneva 36, Taylor 6
BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- Justin Sciarro threw two touchdown passes and Dan Terracciano scored on a 95-yard interception return for Geneva.
Sciarro threw for 251 yards on 16-for-26 passing and tossed touchdown passes of 31 yards to Luke Duriancik and 47 yards to Michael Cobb. Javon Moody added two touchdowns on the ground for Geneva (3-3, 1-2 MSFA Mideast League).
Anthony Lee scored on an 80-yard run in the third quarter for Taylor (1-6, 0-4). Lee's run amounted to nearly half of the Trojans' 167 yards of total offense.
