Scullion has good game in Div. II win

Ashley Conger, Doni Muransky and Jill Wollet paced Poland, but the Bulldogs were eliminated.
BOARDMAN -- Amy Scullion scored nine points with two aces and five kills as the unbeaten Salem High girls volleyball team posted a 25-5, 25-7, 25-11 victory over Wilson in the Division II district tournament at Boardman High's gymnasium.
Brittany Gregory scored seven points with four aces and six kills for the Quakers (23-0). Paige Kenreigh added 10 points and she had four aces. Taylor Toothman had 21 assists.
Keisha Stuart scored three points and Misti Mraz two and a ace as the Redmen (5-16) completed their season.
Crestwood 25-25-25,Poland 11-16-13
BOARDMAN -- Ashley Conger of Poland (16-8) had 21 assists, 11 digs, four points and a ace. Doni Muransky had 11 kills and two blocks and Jill Wollet had eight digs, four kills and four assists.
Courtney Zigman scored eight points with three aces, 14 digs, nine kills and four blocks for Crestwood (20-3). Jessica Cowman scored seven points and she had 17 assists, nine kills and nine digs.
Hubbard takes on Southeast Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Salem goes against Crestwood at 7 in district semifinal matches at Boardman.
Girard 25-25-25, Campbell 5-9-4
SALEM -- The top-seeded Indians (21-3) captured a sectional crown at it turned back Campbell for a Division III sectional title in Salem High's gym.
Ashley Palmer scored 18 points and she had six aces and three digs. Aysha Nickels had 24 assists, nine points and a block. Elise Roscoe had seven kills, 10 points and six aces. Cassie Guerrieri had five kills, 13 points, seven aces and a dig.
United 25-27-18-25,Springfield 13-25-25-11
SALEM -- Callie Rogers led the Tigers (15-9) with 18 assists and five points. Whitney Yaeger had 11 kills and four blocks.
Crestview meets Waterloo Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. and Girard faces United at 7 p.m. in district semifinal matches at Salem.
Mathews 25-25-25,East Canton 17-17-20
LISBON -- Karen Pilati scored 10 points and she had three digs for the Mustangs (12-11) in a Div. IV sectional. Jenna Manz had 12 assists and two aces and Breanne Gollan had six kills.
Grace Spaulding had 13 kills and eight blocks and Karre Thompson had six points and three aces for East Canton.
Leetonia 21-25-22-25-15,Sebring 25-18-25-21-12
LISBON -- Bobbie Miller scored 15 points and she had 33 assists as it took the Bears (10-13) five games to prevail. Emily Goerig had 36 digs, 11 kills and three aces and Valerie Goerig had nine kills and nine blocks.
Chelsea Neeb paced the Trojans (7-12) with 16 points and four aces. Brianna Jones had 12 points, 13 assists and two aces and Katie Wilson had 11 points and three aces.
There are four matches scheduled Saturday at Lisbon: Lordstown takes on Southern at 1 p.m. and Western Reserve goes against St. Thomas at 2:30 in Gym A, while Jackson-Milton meets Mineral Ridge at 1 p.m. and Mathews faces Leetonia at 2:30 in Gym B.
