Santa's Snippers helps abused women, kids


NEW CASTLE, Pa. — New Castle Beauty School, 314 E. Washington St., will have its fourth annual Santa’s Snippers cut-a-thon to benefit the Crisis Shelter of Lawrence County from noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 3.

Lawrence County Cosmetologists Against Domestic Violence, under the supervision of Darlene Hetrick, director of the beauty school, hosts the event.

Local salon owners and stylists have agreed to donate their time and talent by giving hair cuts for a $5 donation, as well as all of their tips, to benefit the shelter for abused women and children.
