KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Candace Parker got her fourth career dunk and scored 25 points to help Tennessee beat Stanford. The Lady Vols (4-0) led most of the game, but Stanford and star freshman center Jayne Appel made them work to stay ahead. The Cardinal (2-2) cut the lead to nine twice late in the second half, and Tennessee answered with 3-pointers. The second time, Appel got an easy basket that trimmed it to 56-47 with 8:02 remaining, and Tennessee's Sidney Spencer hit a 3 at the other end. The teams traded baskets before the Lady Vols pulled away with a quick 6-0 run on a jumper by Parker and four free throws by Alexis Hornbuckle to make it 69-51. The Cardinal could get no closer the rest of the way. Spencer finished with 10 points. Parker recorded her dunk in the first half and added nine rebounds. Appel had a season-high 23 points in her best outing so far. Two-time Pac-10 player of the year Candice Wiggins added 18 and Jillian Harmon scored 10 off the bench. Parker is the fourth collegiate woman to dunk in a game and dunked for the second time this season. She stole a cross-court pass and took off for the wide-open basket at the other end, jamming the ball in with her right hand with 10:55 remaining.

FREEPORT, Bahamas -- Crystal Langhorne scored 16 points and Laura Harper had 11 to help Maryland rout Gardner-Webb in the Junkanoo Jam on Grand Bahama Island. Maryland (6-0) scored the first 13 points of the game and led 24-2. Gardner-Webb (2-3) missed 20 of its first 24 attempts from the field, while Maryland hit 16 of its first 28 shots.

HONOLULU -- Erlana Larkins had 21 points and seven rebounds to help North Carolina beat Sacramento State. Camille Little added 16 points, Ivory Latta had 14, Heather Claytor 12 and Jessica Breland 11 for the Tar Heels (4-0) in the first-round game. North Carolina will play the UCLA-Gonzaga winner in the semifinals today. Kim Sheeny led Sacramento State (1-4) with nine points.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- RaShonta LeBlanc scored 15 points, including two 3-pointers right after halftime, for LSU in the UT-San Antonio Thanksgiving Classic. The Lady Tigers (6-1) scored the first 26 points after the break to lead 49-14. The game-turning run began with four straight 3-pointers, two by LeBlanc. Jamie Dreiling led Tulsa (2-2) with seven points.

JONESBORO, Ark. -- Katie Gearlds scored 17 points for Purdue. Lindsay Wisdom-Hylton and FahKara Malone each added 15 points for the Boilermakers (6-0) in their first game since winning the Preseason WNIT. Rudy Sims scored 23 points for Arkansas State (2-3).

LOS ANGELES -- Morenike Atunrase scored 18 points for Texas A & amp;M in the first round of the LMU Ayres Hotel Thanksgiving Classic. A'Quonesia Franklin added 16 points for the Aggies (4-0), who will play Loyola-Marymount in the championship game today. Loyola Marymount beat American 67-62. Olayinka Sanni had 21 points and 10 rebounds for West Virginia (2-3).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Caroline Williams scored 17 points, and Dee Davis added seven points and 10 assists for Vanderbilt (5-0) in the first round of the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament. Vanderbilt will face California, a 69-52 winner over Belmont, in the championship game. Mistoria Brown led Florida Atlantic (1-5) with 11 points.

FREEPORT, Bahamas -- Bernice Mosby scored 16 points for Baylor against Central Florida in the Junkanoo Jam. Angela Tisdale, Jhasmin Player and Danielle Wilson each had 10 points for the Bears (5-1). Francine Houston led the Golden Knights (1-5) with 10 points.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Devanei Hampton scored 15 points to lead California (4-0) past Belmont in the Vanderbilt Thanksgiving Tournament. Alysha Clark led the Bruins (2-2) with 13 points.

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Victoria Lucas-Perry scored a career-high 30 points and had seven rebounds, six assists and five steals for Michigan State. Allyssa DeHaan, a 6-foot-9 freshman, had 17 points, nine rebounds, three assists and four blocked shots, and Rene Haynes added 15 points for the Spartans (3-1). Leah Phillips had 11 points for the Sycamores (2-2).

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands -- Essence Carson had 14 points and four assists for Rutgers in the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. Epiphanny Prince added 13 points and Kia Vaughn had 11 points and 11 rebounds for Rutgers (2-2). Adreinne Squire led Penn State (4-2) with 12 points. Rutgers will play Arizona State today, while and Penn State will face Western Kentucky.

SAN FRANCISCO -- Tyresa Smith scored 28 points to lead Delaware to its first victory ever over a ranked opponent, a surprising win over Kentucky in the first round of the Odwalla Classic. Chrissy Fisher added 22 points for the Blue Hens (3-1), who shot 61.2 percent (30-of-49) from the field. Sarah Elliott led Kentucky (2-2) with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Delaware will play the San Francisco-Southern Illinois winner in the title game.
Gonzaga 62, No. 21 UCLA 57
HONOLULU -- Michelle Elliott scored 20 points to lead Gonzaga in the first round of the Rainbow Wahine Classic. Heather Bowman added 11 points for Gonzaga (5-1) and Jami Bjorklund had 10. Chinyere Ibekwe led UCLA (2-3) with 21 points, and Lindsey Pluimer had 14.
