Needle's Eye founder will receive award



YOUNGSTOWN -- Irma Davis, founder and director of Needle's Eye Christian Counseling and Tutorial Center, Youngstown, will receive the first human rights award to be presented by Church Women United of the Youngstown Area during its Human Rights Celebration Dec. 2 at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road. The church is the former Boardman Christian Church.
The speaker will be the Rev. Pat Christ of Otterbein United Methodist Church. Registration and continental breakfast will be from 9 to 10 a.m. with the program and service following.
